Little Earth provides a fresh new pre-school model, focusing on holistic learning from the ages of 3 months to 6 years.  Since the curriculum is based on the seven learning areas, each little one will be given the opportunity to discover and to reach their full potential.  We are inspired by, but not limited to, the methods of Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the pedagogy of the Waldorf Education system.

At Little Earth, learning through play is an everyday story.  This learning process not only takes place indoors, but also outdoors where wonderful discoveries are made in the two outdoor classrooms.  Our natural playground supports our curriculum and is a dream for every child and teacher.

When leaving Little Earth, we want our children to have a deep love for learning and a better understanding of the big world that awaits them.

HEALTHY EATING:

Early childhood is the best time to establish healthy eating patterns.  It can be a challenge to encourage young children to eat veggies and fruits and to drink lots of water, but Little Earth is committed and we take on the challenge!  Our 2 chefs are experts in planning and preparing healthy, sumptuous meals and snacks according to our summer and winter menus.  Bread, bread rolls, muffins, pancakes, etc. are freshly baked on site and meals are freshly prepared on a daily basis.

Our Herb and, almost established, Kitchen Garden, gives our children the opportunity to be part of the planting and harvesting of fresh produce.  Throughout our curriculum we focus on sustainability.  In the worm farm, they share in the process, where veggie and fruit off-cuts eventually, in good time, becomes rich compost which returns to the soil.  At Little Earth young and old respect and appreciate the wonder of nature.
